The suspects who were identified as Omotola Amuda, 18yrs and Adesegun Mayowa, 20yrs, were cought at Ago-Iwoye town in Ijebu-North Local Government Area by officers the officers on patrol. A bag which contains locally made guns and cartridges were found in their possession.
The command’s Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, Mr. Oyeyemi stated that the Commissioner of Police, Iliyasu Ahmed, had ordered that the suspects be transferred to the Special Anti-Robbery Squad in Abeokuta for further intarogation.
