Victim identified as Katie Humpage 32years, her parents found her body at her home in Bloxwich, West Midlands, last Tuesday the opening into her inquest heard.
Miss Humpage, who was born in Walsall, taught English at South Wolverhampton and Bilston Academy.Zafar Siddique, the coroner for the Black Country, officially opened the inquest at the Black Country Coroner's Court in Oldbury yesterday.
Giving evidence, Bonita Poole, the coroner's investigating officer, said Miss Humpage had recently broken up with her boyfriend.
