NAF Begins Recruitment To Strengthen Operations Against Insurgency

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has commenced recruitment as part of efforts to beef up its troops deployed for military operation in the north east and other activities threatening internal security.
Addressing the recruitment board in Kaduna, the Chief of Standards and Evaluation of the Nigerian Air Force, Air Vice Marshal Salau Bala-Ribah said the Air Force plans to recruit intelligent and physically fit persons into the Air Force.
He reaffirmed the commitment of the Air Force to play its constitutional role of defending the territorial integrity of the country.
‎Hundreds of Nigerian youths seeking to make a career in the Air Force converged at the old site of the Nigeria Defence Academy in Kaduna for the screening exercise.
The annual recruitment exercise of the Nigeria Air Force is expected to provide ‎career opportunities for 2,500 recruits out of the over 20,000 that applied.
