Ara singer, Brymo has been criticised lately for his controversial views on Twitter. In his recent series of tweets, he made statements about Africans that made his fans angry and got them condemning his reasoning. He said:”Black man likes to suffer” His fans on Twitter didn’t mince words in condemning him over that statement. One user put it this way: “I’m a black man. I don’t like to suffer. Fucking generalizations & stereotypes! If it’s not fact don’t state it.” Another twitter fan adds:”Yes we suffer but that doesn’t mean we like to, doesn’t mean we enjoy it. I don’t like to suffer, we are just helpless” A certain villain says: ”See my favorite Nigerian artiste shaming me”. Brymo responds this way: ”There are many of us, you can pick another. We need our music to stop being about swag and champagne and hoes. We need to make it a point to preach value in all that we do, not everyday money, money, money.”
