4-Year-Old Girl Was Chained Like A ‘Mad Dog’ Inside Kiosk In Ondo

A four-year-old girl has been rescued after she was found out to have been caged like a “mad dog” inside a kiosk.

The girl was rescued on Thursday by the Police Command in Ondo when she was found at a local community in Akure, the State capital.

According to SaharaReporters, the girl, identified by the police, was rescued by the personnel attached to the Juvenile Welfare Centre (JVC) of the command.

It was learned that the little girl was a pupil of Temiloluwa Nursery and Primary School located at Imafon axis of Akure North Local Government Area (LGA) of Ondo State.

Hilda Ibifuro-Harrison, the Ondo State Police Commissioner, disclosed these details to journalists from her office in Akure. She also confirmed that the police arrested the culprit.

Mrs. Ibifuro-Harrison gave the name of the culprit as Mary Matthew, a woman who is a foster parent of the victim.

She stated that Mrs. Matthew and her husband alleged that the young girl was possessed and that they needed to lock her outside of their apartment.

“On receipt of the information, personnel attached to Juvenile Welfare Centre (JVC) visited the scene and met the girl in the cage as reported.

“She [the young girl] was immediately rescued and taken to the Police Clinic for proper medical attention.

“The culprit was paraded at the Ondo State Police Headquarters Command on Igbatoro road in Akure,” the police boss said.

The young girl spoke with journalists and narrated how she was severely abused in the care of her foster parents.

She disclosed that all efforts to run away from her foster family failed because she was afraid of being killed.

“This wicked woman [Mary] always tied me on my hands and forced me inside the cage while she flogged me with a horse whip every day,” the little girl said.

The culprit, Mary Matthew, who is a local farmer, however, denied mistreating the little girl and alleged her of being a witch.

Mrs. Matthew, who hails from Enugu State, told reporters that she was a younger sister to the young girl’s late mother.

She disclosed that since the death of the girl’s biological parents she had been the one responsible for her upbringing.

The girl’s parents reportedly died from complications due to AIDS, according to statements made to the media.

“I didn’t put her in any cage. The place I locked her is my small shop and I always put her in the place anytime am going to the farm for cultivation,” she claimed.

The Police Command has promised to further investigate the matter and threatened to charge the culprit with her husband to the court.

14 year boy abandoned in prison

The story you are about to read discloses one of the pathetic yet interesting cases that ABSU Law Clinic, through its services to the community is handling. It is pitiable to see that in a world where it is loudly proclaimed that children are the leaders of tomorrow, a 14 years old boy, lavishes behind bars for roughly 2 years for a crime he has not been convicted of.

Even as an orphan, his potentials has made him a cynosure at Umuahia prisons, Afara, where he has been remanded all this while. His name is Chima Chimaroke and this is his story;
Chima Chimaroke was born in January 2001 into the family of the Chimas, from Umuekwuele in Afugiri, Umuahia, Abia State. Unfortunately for him he lost his parents and only twin brother at a very tender age.

Despite these challenges Chimaroke exhibited swift learning abilities that led him to acquire skills in phones and other electronics devices repair. He further harnessed his swift learning abilities at Umuahia prisons where he is a barber and the sole shoe maker.

Just as a man on a swing sways in whatever direction the wind blows, Chimaroke was soon swallowed up in social vices as he lacked the attention, love and direction he would have gotten from his late parents. As a boisterous  young man, he began to fend for himself by hawking Lacasera and Gala on the streets as the family he found himself in had no eye for him.

He was introduced into the world of crime by his co-hawkers who compelled him to stand as a lookout while they carried out their devious plans. As a fresh man in the world of crime, he was the only one arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit armed robbery whilst the ringleaders are graciously at large.

Through the joint efforts of the ABSU LAW CLINIC and the office of the Chief Judge of Abia  state, Chimaroke was granted bail during the jail delivery that took place on the 4th of May, 2016.  But we are faced with a problem, thus;
Chimaroke is an orphan with no immediate relatives except for his stepmother and step brothers. The stepmother has refused to have anything to do with him and has gone on to prevent her children from helping out. Saying that China is an "abandoned government property". It was a herculean task for ABSU LAW CLINIC to locate, communicate with and convince one of his step brothers to sign Chimarokes bail bond. Although by Gods intervention he agreed to sign but on the condition that Chimaroke is not welcomed in their home as their mother  would not allow it. He said he could only sign it if we could provide accommodation or a place to rehabilitate Chimaraoke.
The problem now is DO WE RELEASE CHIMARAOKE TO A FAMILY THAT SEES HIM AS AN ABANDONED GOVERNMENT PROPERTY  OR DO WE RELEASE HIM BACK TO A WORLD OF CRIME?

Chimaroke needs to be taught love where he has seen hate, peace where he has seen chaos, a home where he has been left on the streets.
Chimaroke need YOU to harness his talent where his talent has been left dormant.
His stay in the prison has done more harm than good to him and the society  at large, as he would  be molded from the things he learns now. Chimaroke is susceptible to change and only needs the right hands to lead him aright.

A day old baby girl abandoned near a transformer opposite  Phase Three Junction Kubwa expressway in Abuja on Wednesday August 10th.The baby has been transferred to the General Hospital hospital for medical check.  The baby was discovered by residents of the community and was immediately taken to the police station from where she was later transferred to the kubwa general hospital where doctors are working to ensure her survival...

11 Things a man must never do for a woman

It’s not news that men will do a lot to please women they are interested in.

Most men act childish when they are really in love and this has cost them a great deal. It is not bad to please a woman but over doing it makes one stupid. As a man, you must be smart enough to read in between the lines to know what’s favorable and what’s not.

We are not saying you shouldn’t be romantic, it is a good thing to be romantic but not to the detriment of yourself and you should know that, just because something might be done in the name of love does not make it the right thing to do and these are the few you should try as much as possible to avoid or never be tempted to do for a woman, regardless.

1. Steal For Her

Obviously, we all know where this will end you and by the time you will be back, someone might have taken your place. Never allow anything to push you to steal in order to please your woman because if she later finds out you actually stole a gift for her, she might drop you, unless of course, you are in it together like Bonny and Clyde.

2. Pay For Her Education

It is not a bad thing to support her education, if you can help but to take full responsibility for everything to your own detriment can be dangerous. We are all humans and we change from time to time, most men actually think funding a girl’s education means they’ll be forever indebted to them, ending up getting married to them but we’ve seen several scenarios where the women will end up finding love elsewhere. This has been suicidal to many men.

3. Buy Her A House When You Don’t Have One

Common sense should tell you, you should build your dreams together but not favor her and think of yours later. Building a house for a woman when you don’t have one yourself can make you is wrong in every way. When she finally jilts you and lives in it with another man. There are many men still biting their fingers over thism.

4. Fight Another Man Because Of Her

Fighting because of her doesn’t prove anything. Two things are likely to happen, either the person beats you to a pulp and end up in the hospital or you will beat the person and end up in jail, either way, you don’t win. Unless it is for self-defense

5. Reject Your Family Because Of Her

A family is everything and no matter what, you can’t reject them because your woman doesn’t like them. It will be very dangerous on your part to reject your family all because of a woman.

6. Change Your Appearance

These days, there are many men doing a lot, taking pills to make changes to their bodies all because they feel that’s what women love. Changing you to please a woman means the moment you stop trying she’ll go, ideally, people you be with should love you for who you are.

7. Give Up On Your Dreams To Satisfy Her

So there are many men out there who gave up on their dreams to help their woman achieve theirs or were discouraged by women. These same women dumped them afterwards. Never do this after reading this.

8. Being Over-Submissive

It is nice to be sweet to your woman but always learn to set the records straight and don’t try to always appear weak to her and succumb to all her wishes in the interest of pleasing her. Truth is, women actually hate weak men and will prefer you’re sweet and sour.

9. Starve Yourself For Her

Never forfeit your food for her, at least you can share but to give all to her and go hungry, that’s not love, that’s stupidity.

10. Kill For Her

Never ever even think about executing such an atrocity for a woman no matter how convincing the situation is, because if you end up in jail, another man will take your position.

11. Die For Her, Literally

So many men have committed suicide because of a woman. What’s the sense in it when you’re finally dead and gone. Live to fight another day

Four teenage boys arrested for selling human parts

4 boys were nabbed in Mbo State Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom. When they went looking for a buyer of a human skull in their possession.

The Akwa Ibom State Police Public Relations Officer, Delia Nwawe, said the suspects were arrested by officers of the Criminal Investigation Department(CID) on receiving an alert from vigilant youths in the area.

The alleged leader of the group, Emmanuel Edet Ikot denied the accusation, claiming that he only stumbled on a human skull while working at an uncompleted building for a man who had paid him to cut grasses.

"I was paid to cut grass and clean up an uncompleted building by one man in Oron. As i was clearing the place i stumbled on a human skull. I then rushed to inform my friends of what i found and in the company of those my friends, we went to pick the human skull.After picking it,we decided to sell it, but we did not know of any possible buyer. So, it was suggested by one of us that we take it to a native doctor in Mbo.The four of us went together,but on our way, we were held by the youth leader of Mbo. After the skull was found on me, he called the police to arrest us.That is why we are here. I have not sold human parts before."

Ikot and other suspects, Ubong Udong (18) from Oron, Bright Effiong Okon (19) from Orukim in Mbo LGA and Okon Ita (20) also from Orukim have been in police custody and are waiting to be charged to court for trading in human parts.

6 years old girl forced in marrying a man of 55 years

6-year-old girl known as Gharibgol has been sold into marriage after her father allegedly exchanged her for food stuffs

Relative raised the alarm about the this incident which led to the arrest of the groom, Seyed Abdolkarim and girl's father.

According to the father, he and his family were dying of hunger and by selling his daughter he had one less mouth to feed. He also insisted that the new husband of the girl had sworn not to have sexual inter course with her until she had turned 18.

After the wedding, Abdolkarim taking the girl to a relative's house in Firozkoh, in Ghor province, pretends she was his daughter.

But the concerned relative raised the alarm, insisting Abdolkarim was 'undressing her at night'.
Abdolkarim then told a relative: 'No [she's not my daughter], she's my wife, her father gave her to me.'
Not convinced, the relative opened up to a friend on the matter and the friend promptly called the local women's rights bureau.

Responding to the situation, the bureau says it will pursue a divorce and ensure the father is stripped of his parental rights.

The girl is reportedly now living with her mother.
